In one sentence
FARELINE is a free roguelike strategy game about running an airline: open lines, negotiate with airports, set one fare for the whole network and meet the owner's cash target every quarter for five years.
Description
You start at a home airport with your first lines and a small cash box. Every quarter the owner sets a cash target. Meet it and the surplus goes into the box. Miss it and the box pays the difference. If the box falls below zero, the airline is bankrupt and the run is over.
After each month you are dealt a hand of new lines, new bases, bigger planes and more flights, and you take up to 3. New lines and bases are negotiated with the airport. One fare covers the whole network. Between quarters the shop sells perks that reward a way of flying, and the last quarter of every year is a boss quarter that bends one rule.
Each run is different. The bosses, the hands and the shop shelves change with the seed, and the home airports each play their own way. The ranked boards and the Daily Challenge compare runs that play the same for every player.

Features
- A run is 25 quarters over 5 years. Every quarter the owner sets a cash target, and a miss is paid from the cash box.
- A hand of 5 cards after each month: new lines, new bases, bigger planes and more flights.
- Negotiations: your leverage meets the airport's ask, and a refusal still banks goodwill for the next talk.
- One fare for the whole network. Revenue is passengers × fare × MULT.
- 94 perks in the shop. Perks of one family pay a set bonus together.
- 27 boss quarters that each bend one rule, and three finals.
- 5 levels and 160 home airports on seven continents.
- The Daily Challenge: one airport and one seed a day, the same for every player, with a board for each level.
- Your own airline: a name, a code, an emblem, colours and a livery, and a poster of your network when a run ends.
- A globe with day and night as they are right now, and your own aircraft flying every line. Seven lounge music themes, played live by the game.
- No account needed. A run plays without a connection. The boards need one.
